We had a very nice time here. We ordered the medium bucket and the three of us sifted for about 20-30 minutes (mostly helping my seven year old son). I wish we had done the big bucket! We found several bigger stones/gems and chose to...More

My wife and I have been going to Doc’s every couple months for the last 9 years as part of our regular date day. Not only are the employees both helpful and knowledgeable, but their excitement about geology and the stones themselves can’t help but...More

I went to Doc's on my way out of town because I saw they had coffee. I was immediately greeted by Blaise who made me a delicious latte, and also offered to show me around the shop. Though it wasn't why I was there, I...More

There are a lot of great things about this place: convenient location right alongside 321; buckets of dirt seeded with a nice variety of stones; an indoor sluice so you can "mine" out of the cold and rain if the weather turns bad. But the...More

Wonderful place to and great place for all ages to gem. Staff was great and very informative about all the rocks and the surrounding area from where the rocks are brought in from. For the price you can't beat this!

Blaise was extremely helpful with showing me the location of all things dinosaur and I got to over hear her knowledge of all the minerals a couple found in their bucket. Very impressed with her customer interaction skills. Will be visiting again to learn more!
