A very lovely FREE museum in the heart of Blowing Rock. Enjoyed it immensely and learned a few things about North Carolina. Nice gift shop too. Parking is also free in back of the museum.

This new museum is located on Main Street and admission is now free. What an enjoyable trip through the rooms filled with delightful displays. A must see while in Blowing Rock.

What a gem! "Cotton" special exhibit well done and very interesting. Art plus photos plus commentary on contemporary family farming for cotton. Dispels incorrect notions on slavery and cotton; also makes you appreciate what goes into making cotton goods. Nice display upstairs on the history...More

New museum that is still collecting pieces of art. Building is beautiful and new. Expect to spend 15/20 minutes viewing.

Great history about Blowing Rock, very friendly staff, has a gift shop. Plenty of free parking in the back and restrooms. Good area to take a walk around down to the city park.
