We have used this destination as part of a day trip to Blowing Rock for years! So many happy memories of hikes and picnics with our kids and/or just walking out on the porch and rocking in a rocking chair while enjoying the view.

I suggest you contact them directly. I know that in our area of North Carolina there are times in the winter when the Blue Ridge Parkway is closed even though local roads may be open and safe. Sorry but I just don't know... More
What is the cost and schedule for horseback riding and are reservations recommended?

I believe the horseback riding was around $300 but only had an all day package which included lunch, photos, and something else. We didn't have that much time to put into it.
