Hubs is a veteran and we both got in for the "military" rate. That's pretty cool. We spent maybe 45 minutes there. It was a clear day and the views were nice. Definitely didn't have the "blowing rock" effect, as the wind was not favorable.

It was neat to see the Blowing Rock. It was all easily accessible and fun for two teenage girls... especially the cat!

Pretty but if you are not a heights person don't think about it. Very scary felling looking down. But the town has so much charm

We were amazed at the bridge, its a beautiful walk and not to hard, you can take a bus down to the beginning if steps are to hard for you

Right off the blue ridge in blowing rock. Stunning view. Worth the drive. There is a hiking trail right at the blowing rock overlook pull off. The kids enjoyed the view but I’m sure is adults enjoyed it more. Breathtaking

Beautiful views all around! A cat who is your tour guide! A legend that is so romantic! Ah!!! Perfection even though it rained and poured on us!

Stopped with husband and 2 kids on a cold, rainy day. It was nice to walk around for a bit and then get warm in the gift shop before venturing out again.

It's for upkeep of the grounds and area around the rock itself. Fo example, when we visited in December, it was very snowy and icy. They had used part of the money from our payment to salt and clear the walkways and the road... More
