The two main attractions in this area. Grandfather is well worth the trip despite the steep entrance fee. You could spend a day here and be sure to take a picnic. The kids will love it. Blowing Rock....fantastic views boy that's about it for another...More

Nice overlook and fable. We drove quite a way to get there, but was glad we did. Great view up there, with a nice breeze! Great gift shop too. Good for all ages.

Awesome views from The Blowing Rock, clear days you can see to Charlotte! You can also learn the Indian Fable that gave Blowing Rock its name. Nice snack bar and gift shop as well.

Small park but with great views. Not any real hiking trails. Good for a one time experience though.Gift store, art gallery. Staff was friendly and easy parking.

Easy short walk to the lookouts. Nice breeze and you can enjoy the beautiful countryside. This is fun for the whole family. Also pet friendly.

This is the oldest tourist attraction in NC. It is appropriate for all ages with spectacular views. We will be back.
