We saw the Blowing Rock yesterday, a bright, clear, sunny day. We paid the senior rate of admission, $6, and it was worth every cent. The site has been privately owned for decades and is very tastefully laid out. You enter through a quaint building...More

A quick, easy visit to this unique site. Great views & easily accessible. I thought it was a tad pricey to take a family, but lovely.

This is worth a quick visit. It s not really fair to compare it to some other place because the scale is not comparable

I had to take friends to see the Blowing Rock, and they appreciated it as I appreciate anything outdoors and nature related. Good visit for them to say they saw it. I prefer less touristy spots and typically find my own vantage points.

This site is on my bucket list; I feel like I've already been there because of a marvelous movie called Goodbye Solo -- a man who wants to help and a man who doesn't want help. The goal is blowing rock, and the journey there...More

The Blowing Rock is well marked by a sign close to the highway on the south side of the town with the same name. You enter by going through the onsite gift shop. Admission fee for seniors was $6.00. The walkways will allow you to...More

If you're outdoorsy or in any kind of shape, the blowing rock is a disappointment. The rock isn't very big and if you've done any hiking in the area, you've likely taken in the beautiful views elsewhere. Might be fun for families with young children...More

Very simple, nice nature walk and overlook. 7 bucks was fine for me going solo but admission might stack up if traveling as a family. Seniors and children are discounted though. Wonderful view and very nice hike. Spent about 30ish minutes going through. Nice bathrooms...More

Our first visit was on our honeymoon. We tend to stay away from the heavily populated areas and this was perfect. Beautiful day and you could see forever. This is a must see if you're in the area.

The views were great but the cost for a walk that took less then 25 minutes was not worth it. Ok if your in town but would not travel for it. Grandfather much better but also not cheap.
