This is a great stop along Highway 276 between Brevard and Cedar Mountain, North Carolina, before reaching the turn to Dupont Forest or the climb to Caesar's Head (S.C.). The view of the falls is very easy to access, and it gives a chance to stretch your legs and walk your dog.

The falls are accessible with a very short walk. This is so beautiful, especially after a good rain.

Worth a stop if you're traveling along Route 276. Easy for family and wheelchair friendly. Views are better in winter.

This was our first time to the Western part of North Carolina. It had just snowed, so we were very excited to see frozen waterfalls. We had some guide books, and when my husband read about this particular set of falls, we just had to go and see it for ourselves. It is truly amazing, to see this waterfall.....really two... More

As other reviewers point out the access to these falls is just off the main road. However, the trip there was not worth the few extra miles from the heart of Brevard for us. In fairness, the lack of rain was impacting the water volume. However, even with greater flow the view from the "general public" side is lackluster. Perhaps... More

As Floridians looking for a vacation location in the NC mountains we sought vacations homes for rent or sale and found several options in the greater Asheville area. What attracted us to Connestee Falls was two things: the large number of amenities on site and the stability of the operation. It is a 4000 acre gated community that has about... More

This area has many Falls. And with the leaves turning colors with the coming of fall weather the falls are beautiful. Load up the family and visit!

Connestee Falls is easy to reach just off NC-276 near the entrance to the Connestee Falls housing development. The falls are not the biggest or the prettiest in the area. There are better, but some require a long hike or a steep climb. If you are in the area, it is worth a stop. Just an average recommendation. Pretty but... More

Brevard has a fun downtown with good variety of restaurants and many good craft store. Even adults will like O P Taylor's toy store.
