Our family of four really had a great time on the canopy tour. The instructions were easy to follow & our 10 year old had no trouble. Our guides, Barrett & Dillon, were helpful and friendly. The zip lines were long and some of the...More

Had a great time for the second straight year. Staff was friendly and well trained. Not as big a selection of apparel from the previous year. Still a great afternoon in the canopy.

This is a great rafting trip for first timers and younger kids. I took my kids (9 & 10) last year and they asked to go back again this year. The river is beautiful and the guides are great. Rapids are great for those wanting...More

First time White Water rafting, and it was a very good experience. Our guide, Victoria, was great. She was professional, funny, and knew a lot of history. Nantahala river is a great river with a few fast rapids. Great for beginners.

This was an amazing experience. I will be the first to admit that I was very nervous about doing whitewater rafting with my young children (ages 7, 9, and 13). But our guide, Pappy, was fantastic. Never once did we feel unsafe or unprepared for...More

I'm 68 and adventurous, but I don't work out; do you think I can survive rafting and zip lining?

My husband is 71 and sounds like he's in about the same physical condition. I wouldn't try it with him. We did the Jeep tour instead.
My bucket list includes rafting and zip lining but I'm 68 and my husband is 70. My daughter and granddaughters (14 & 17) are also coming. I'm adventurous but not so much for my husband. How would I do?

When we were there in August, we wore swimsuits with long sleeved swim shorts and shorts. Be sure to take water shoes, or if you have scuba booties, those would be better as the water is a constant 48 degrees!
