We had a fun time during a short visit here. The holy terra working the day of our visit were very friendly and welcoming. Many civil war displays. Books to purchase. Restrooms available in a separate building.

Being a history buff, and always wanting to learn the history of the towns around North Carolina, I went to the Alamance County Historical Museum and found it delightful and filled with little treasures of information. I suggest everyone visit this little place

I liked learning about the history of the area. I was disappointed there was not more information about slavery on the plantation and how cilvil rights progressed in this region.
