We went on a Sunday and we had a blast! This Zoo is a true gem that's hidden away, and definitely worth seeing. All of these years that I lived in NC and I had no idea all of these rescued exotic animals were all in one place. It is a lot of fun if you have kids... and even... More

Have visited here multiple times. Great for families. Great for adults. Everyone I've been with always walks away with smiles and good memories. Make sure to take the safari ride!

Admission is reasonable. Animals are well attended and are all rescues which can't return to the wild. There are several domestic and a few wild animals that you can feed and touch! Cows, goats, sheep, horses, ducks and one of the many peacocks. Buy a bag per person at ticket counter... giraffe carrots are by Stretch's (giraffe) house. There is... More

The animals looked a little less than happy to be there. But I'm told that they're all rescues, so I guess that's a plus. Pricing is pretty good and the kids love it. Definitely worth a day trip.

My husband and I visited this zoo (for me is more like a sanctuary) last November 19th, and we had such a great experience, especially learning about how they rescued and helped these animals. My husband needed a wheelchair, and they provided him with a very comfortable and easy to use one, making sure he was doing ok every step... More

I recommend it to anybody. I had an awsome time with my wife. Took hundreds of pictures literally. Although not with my phone. I will be coming back.

I absolutely enjoyed taking my family to the Aloha Safari Zoo. They had all sorts of animals. This zoo is much smaller than your traditional zoo; however, the experience is much different. While many of the animals are in isolated areas, there are animals that you are allowed to pet and touch. A few years back, I was able to... More

I see other reviewers looked at this place differently than my family of 4 did. Yes, it is animals and lots of room to roam for some. But, the overall condition and size of the habitats for the larger monkeys really caused us heartache. We also could see what appeared to be wolves or maybe even just dogs in the... More

It is easy to maneuver around plus they had a bus. So Adults will love it too. And the kids go wild for the touch.. You can tell all the people there love animals and take great care of them.

Just returned from visiting this zoo and had a wonderful time. There's not too many places around the Raleigh area where children can interact and feed a giraffe, baboons and many other animals not native to Wake County North Carolina. Do bring cash so you can buy carrots for the giraffe. This is a wonderful place for children.
