This is a really nice park you can camp, fish, hike and go on a b boating trip if you would like it also has a small store to buy essentials. A really nice park.

When we were there the gates were never locked. We went out for dinner and returned around 1am. There were no issues with not being able to get back in.

Go to Campsitephoto and read their comments and you can look at the sites. Also read the reviews at Campendium and search Things to do Carolina Beach (Tripadvisor) I use these instead of Campers advice. Some will give out... More
