We love to visit Hemlock Bluffs, and we love that we can bring our dog along too! Close to our house, and a nice short, out in the woods, walk!

Such a pretty place with trails that are clearly marked and not difficult for all ages and levels. Hemlock trees are a sight along with the native critters.

Hemlock Bluffs is a great little nature preserve. Most of the preserve is part of Hemlock Bluffs State Natural Area and leased to the town of Cary to operate as a nature preserve. Steep bluffs along Swift Creek create a montane microclimate that supports an...More

The trails here are not challenging and perfect for a quick, quiet, getaway. Family and dog friendly, there is a small "center" where you can get your questions answered about the local wildlife and plants there. Very pretty and hard to believe you are right...More

Nice little park off the beaten path, never seems to be crowded, and you can usually find some solitude, despite the smallish nature of the park.

Visited the Preserve mid morning on Monday in Dec and literally had the place to ourselves. Went with my daughter and grandkids as they showed me some of the local nature in the Apex/Cary area. The trails are well maintained with signage along each trail...More

Hemlock Bluffs has two lovely trails. They are well mulched and well maintained. Stevens Nature Center, located at the park, has information about the area and native species. The facilities are clean and well maintained.
