This is a lovely botanical garden. Rather than manicured flower gardens and lawns, you will see natural flowers and plants, a little on the wild side. Lots of huge trees. What I enjoyed on my visit were the sculptures throughout the garden. Lovely to see...More

I'm a bit biased since I live a few blocks away, but this is gem is worth going to. NC is a beautiful state as it is, but this takes it up a notch. It's amazing!

Our family enjoyed spending the afternoon at these gardens. Our favorite section was the carnivorous plants. Venus Flytraps and such for those interested! It was a hot afternoon and there were plenty of walkways totally shaded that gave relief from the sun. All the pathways...More

We had our wedding here several years ago. It was the perfect venue for a wedding! We visit to enjoy the memories, and to take in the beautiful gardens.

One of the best native plant gardens in the country. NCBG offers many educational programs, all ages. Enjoy the yearly plant sales and gift shop. Visit and walk their extended trials at this site and surrounding area.

The botanical gardens have an amazing array of plants that grow in various habitats around the state. The walking trails are lovely and there is so much to see and smell. The garden is really amazing year round. Every season has something different to offer!

Leashed dogs are allowed on the Piedmont Nature Trails. Dogs are not allowed inside the fenced area of the display gardens. Hope that helps!
