The Coker Arboretum on the edge of the UNC campus near the Planetarium is a wonderful place for a short walk, or just sitting on a bench. The plants are all labeled, so I was sent there by my gardener to see what kind of...More

This area is very beautiful all year around but now the weather is a little warmer it's nice to take a stroll through the arboretum. Also a good spot for a picnic. A nice retreat so close to the main thoroughfare of Chapel Hill.

A great place to walk around. Most of the trees have labels to identify what they are. Several of the trees are gigantic. Hundreds of years old. Several places to sit down and relax.

Not much more than some trees and paths in a few acres by the road on the main UNC campus. Don't compare it to Duke's garden as you will be very disappointed!

This is a great place for privacy, contemplation and romance. It consists of several acres of not so obviously landscaped grounds full of rare plants and trees. There are open, grassy areas with privacy for study, contemplation and romance.
