I am probably biased as a NC native and the mother of a child attending UNC, but this campus is hard to beat. It's gorgeous, with beautiful architecture, lovely shaded areas to help escape the heat and such a welcoming community.

Really good campus with lots of options. Has a big school feel with a less dramatic affect. Many options on campus for dining and close to stores. Clean campus

Beautiful! The day was rather hot but the campus tour was very informative. Great opportunity to learn about the programs. They show you a lock dorm and the Student ambassador was very informative

We stopped through here on a road trip and had a great few hours there. The people we encountered (summer so not many students) were very friendly. The campus is beautiful and the college town feel was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the basketball museum over...More

Awesome place to walk around. The campus is filled with historical landmarks and is just beautiful. Close to downtown so it's easy to shop, eat and see the campus. Gotta get a picture by the Old Well!

I want to add one more thing - shopping for your son's "domestic" needs, etc. I imagine you will purchase most items on arrival like most from "out of area." There is little shopping in Chapel Hill/Franklin Street walking... More
