This is the day for the lunar eclipse where the red moon comes out. The Morehead planitarium is having special shows for the event & at $9.50, it's a great deal! Beautiful building, nice store, & a rose garden out front.

Morehead planetarium is a beautiful facility that offers the usual planetary observatory programs projected on the round ceiling, but the laser shows set to music are exceptionally good.
