    Great science museum for kids
We had a great time visiting this science museum! The marvel experience was interesting and the kids loved taking photos with the life size superheroes! It is a very nice science museum. Our kids (6-8 years old) had a great time.

    Catch the Marvel Exhibition
Located near multiple parking garages. Military discount is available in person with ID. Multiple floors with many displays and interactive learning. We primarily went for the World of Marvel Exhibition which is a separate fee from entry. If you are a marvel fan you will love seeing the actual costumes used, real comic pages, original art, the history display, and the very 1st comic ever published. Even if you are not a marvel fan, the history and details of what is involved in the creative process is interesting. If you get stuck with a camp be patient, their excitement brings a whole different experience to what you are viewing. It was an enjoyable time. Restrooms were clean and their is a restaurant on site.

    Good Fun for the Family
This was ranked one the best things to do while visiting Charlotte and for good reason. Loved the spaciousness of the place. There were tons of things to look at an explore. Highly recommend this attraction. Buy tickets online for a discount. We parked in a parking garage across the street and walked over. Did not see they had their own garage that attached to the attraction.

    Surpassed expectations!
Amazing. Surpassed expectations. We brought a 4 yo and they enjoyed almost everything there was at the museum. We watched the science show and they were mesmerized! The only hard part was that it was crowded due to all the school trips there so my little one had to be patient is all.

Though my son had a good time, for the price I paid, I was not at all impressed! On the second floor, 8 out of the thirteen things he tried to use or do were broken and had been broken for who knows how long! If I am going to pay that much, then $14 parking on top of that, I want everything to be working or at the very least see someone attempting to fix it!

TBH, I was less than impressed with the facility. Maybe I had too high expectations based on reviews. The activities that were available were a bit too primary or too high level for kids that are 7-12. I felt that my kids would’ve enjoyed a few more interactive displays. The spy one looked cool but there were no papers available to complete it. Finding workers wasn’t that easy so we just left the area. Clean facility but not worth what we paid.
The science lab with dry ice was pretty cool though!

This place was not at all worth the price. You can see frogs, fish and birds at the pet store for free. Give me a break. They threw some facts on the wall about the human body and are calling this a museum?! There are barely any hands on activities. The "Spy" experience they have up; several of the "clues" were broken and most were extremely difficult to understand, complete or hear, rendering this exhibit totally useless. One wing of the 2nd floor was about bias and while the topic is important the exhibit was extremely boring. There are some stuffed bears, a large globe and 2 areas where you can look up stuff under a microscope. That's basically it. Took an hour. The one room that has interactive areas was only for kids under 7 so my kid couldn't go. Even if half the second floor wasn't currently being blocked off for an upcoming exhibit, there's nothing they could put in there to make a ticket worth the price.

I took my kids here over the weekend for the first time. They loved it, so that was a successful trip. I think most kids will enjoy it, as long as they don’t mind a little noise.

I will say though that some of the attractions are a bit worn and could use an upgrade. It felt a bit dated in places. I hope management looks at these reviews and takes some steps here to refresh things.

We will definitely be back, I hope for a longer visit.

Family of 6 with 4 small kids. This place is always something for them to do. We have a membership so we can go when ever we want at no extra cost. Good fit any rainy day. Now that Covid is over things are finally getting back to normal operating hours and no mask requirements. Great for small children and adults to have fun and learn with their kids.

we went to the museum in the fall of 2022 and we had an amazing experience, yes some of it was a little worn off, but still it did not affect the experience to make it bad. we really enjoyed the visit
