Old Mecklenburg Brewery was bigger then I expected, the beer hall and biergarten were huge! I only came to sample beer and ordered a Hefeweizen (Hornet's Nest). The Hefeweizen was very good, and tasted like a good German Hefeweizen. I grabbed my beer and sat...More

This was an awesome German Biergarten atmosphere! Lots of open space outside connected to a full service restaurant and brewery. Pretzels, pretzels pretzels!!!!! They are soft and awesome!

Loved the atmosphere at the brewery. Decent beers although it would be great if they added an IPA to their lineup. Crab dip was really good. French dip was decent and it was nice that the side option was asparagus.

You have to try their beer; the Hornet's Nest! Plus their crab dip, Rueben and their schnitzel! Really good!!

The biergarten at OMB is like none other. I've been to several breweries around South End and wasn't really blown away, but OMB is like no other. I'm not a huge beer drinker but the Captain Jack pilsner was great. The outdoor patio seating offers...More

Lovely place, great for drinking and eating pretzel. The Jager schnitzel is nothing like 99% of the ones I have had. I lived in Germany so I know what is authentic. Very disappointed, spaetzel also. Good beer great setting and pretzel...stop there.

Familiar with German beer and food, I was delighted to try OMB. Completely satisfied with a selection of very good, fresh beers, we'll-made traditional specialties, all served in a beer/hall/garden atmosphere. Two of us drank and ate well, with an excellent, shared dessert, for under...More

Yes they serve dinner. It is fair. They have some food trucks come out at various times also. Those are worth the visit.
