A large palace designed as a beer garden with an eating section. We ate the bratwurst, the schnitzel and crab cakes. Very tasty and well prepared. The beer mentioned in the subject was excellent. Nice service and reasonably priced.

A fun place, with lots going on. We recently went during their Mecktoberfest, and the place was packed. Lots of good beer choices, but the German food seemed a little "mass produced", and pretty average. And it's very over priced. But it still was a...More

Stopped at Old Mecklenburg Brewery for a tour, lunch & drinks while staying in the Charlotte area. Great time for all. Wonderful beer selection, great food (best Rueben that I've had along with great pretzels). Atmosphere much like the beer halls of Munich. Plenty of...More

I’ve only lived in Charlotte for a year, and as a small business owner with only a home office, I will jump at the chance to have a meeting at Old Meck. It’s a big German-esque beer hall but doesn’t get too loud and the...More

Not the 1st time I've been here, but it's been very nice on both occasions. Food is excellent, sausages are very good, as is the reuben sandwich. A must has to be the hot pretzel, simply delicious. Order it with the mustard AND the cheese...More

We stopped here with our dogs while waiting for our hotel room to become available. Nice shady area, wide paths, music, good beer. Food was ok, and too pricey for the portions. We had a nice time there.

OMB continues to deliver even while CLT seems to have exciting new breweries opening every week. Hornets Nest is a heffeweissen winner. The beirgarten is fantastic day or night. Looking forward to going back for OMB’s Octoberfest celebration in September.

This is my favorite brewery in Charlotte because of the German style beer hall and beer! The food is good and my wife and I enjoy the sausages and pretzels. Is it as good as The Waldhorn in Pineville? Yes and No. This is not...More

Came here today for dinner on a Saturday night with my wife and 2 kids (both in daycare). There was a festival of some kind going on right next to the restaurant (a clue we should have went elsewhere) so I definitely forecasted a wait...More

We made our first visit after hearing all our friends rave about the OMB. We had a wonderful time that was highlighted by our waitress, she was a 12 on a 10 scale and made the entire evening fun. We ordered dinner, it was ok...More

Yes there is. Not a large selection but it was on the menu and the lady next to me was sipping happily on her glass.

It's a huge place with a huge outside area and they have some pretty generic foods for pickier eaters but the food is great. Outside sometimes has live music and some outdoor games like corn hole. I took my 4-6 ye olds a few... More
