MetalMorphosis is off the beaten path and tucked away in an office complex. It is worth the visit. It is in constant motion and the sunlight shining on it makes it an amazing view. The soothing sounds of the water makes this attraction a nice...More

We loved this. Sat and watched it for about 10 minutes, so do not expect a full day's activity, but it is beautiful and worth a visit if you are in the area!

Really cool moving sculpture!! Only sad thing that this fine piece of kinetic art is in the middle of a monotonous office park... placed there probably by the developer to sexy up this park.

This was a neat thing to see. It was working the day we were there, except for the fountain. After many visits to Charlotte, I had no idea it was there. Would visit Metalmorphosis again.

It's located in a business park south of uptown and the airport so does require driving a little off the beaten path. Not a must see stop but is rather cool and better in person.

We found this sculpture after reading about it and when we got there it was not working. It was fun to image what it did and watched it on YouTube instead.

The head seemed to be broken. It didn't move the entire time we were there. We took some pictures but it wasn't the same.

The sculpture has a Facebook page and, as of today, it says "We're still working on getting him back to full working order". It doesn't say when work will be completed.
