I had thought that it would be bigger. There wasn't as much interactive things there as I would have hoped. They have all the cold fighter jets roped off. You can't see any cockpits or view from all angles. Its just too bad that people...More

I was expecting a little more but it was an interesting aviation museum. The current centerpiece is the plane that crash landed in the Hudson river and it takes up most of the floor space. I was pleased to see the Navy aircraft they have...More

We attempted to go to Top Golf on a weekend get away and when we discovered how long the wait was we ended up at the Aviation museum instead. We arrived just in time to hear a passenger from US Airways Flight 1549 speak about...More

Visited with my wife to view the ‘Miracle on the Hudson exhibit and were not disappointed. The museum is small and very friendly with a number of aircraft housed in a single hanger and culminating in in Sullys A320. The entrance is $12 but worth...More

We really enjoyed the museum. My husband loves aviation so was very taken with everything inside. He says there’s a good variety. I found the flight 1549 (miracle on the Hudson) to be very informative and interesting! Would definitely recommend the museum to anyone.

If you go to Charlotte, you really need to see this place. They had some really nice planes and displays, but nothing could top Captain Sullenberger's miracle landing and the way they have it set up with all kinds of information, artifacts, and interactive exhibits.

The miracle on the Hudson really was. We watch the history Channel and wonder how in the world did we ever get anything done when everything goes wrong at every step. It was nice to spend time where everything went right and everyone lived. Both...More

Situated on the grounds of Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, Carolinas Aviation Museum houses aircraft and artifacts from the advent of aviation. It is especially notable for housing an Airbus A320 used on US Airways Flight 1549, which departed LaGuardia Airport in NYC for Charlotte but crash-landed...More

Educational and fun place for families to visit. The highlight is seeing the actual plane that landed on the Hudson River and learning all about it. It was a miracle!
