The staff did a great job to have interesting activities for Homeschool Day!! There was something for different age groups & so much to see. All the folks were great to talk to & had lots of stories to share.

Visited as we were staying in Charlotte overnight. Read all about it on the internet before hand. Friendly staff but no Military Discount (?), Small but plenty to see with the main attraction being 'Sully's plane'. No air con in the hangar so it can...More

Easy self guided tour. Some hands on for younger children. Flight simulator with instuctor is fun. Highlight is USAir flight 1549 on display. Miracle on the Hudson in 2009 flown and successfully landed on the Hudson River by Captain “Sully” Sullenberger without a single loss...More

This is a very nice museum. It is very well done, but if you've been to some of the others like DC, it will seem small. The centerpiece is the airliner from the miracle on the Hudson. You can also go outside to see a...More

The museum is great but totally over shadowed by Flight 1549, Miracle on the Hudson Aircraft. An amazing part of Aviation history will extremely friendly knowledgeable employees. My mum is not a fan of Aircraft but she was totally amazed by Flight 1549

I had the pleasure in taking a tour of this facility and found myself reading every article that was on display. They have a cockpit you can sit in and take pics. Really cool place.

We traveled to the Carolina's Aviation Museum to see Sully's plane, which was spectacular and worth the trip by itself. However, we were pleasantly surprised at the other offerings in the museum and ended up spending several hours exploring the exhibits. It was a very...More

We visited this museum prior to catching our flight since it is located right next to the airport. My husband loves planes so it seemed like a great place to visit. We were both fascinated with the "Miracle on the Hudson" display. The entire plane...More

I would say a minimum of 2 hours to get an overview of everything and max of 3 hours if you want to watch the informative videos/presentations.
