Overall it's a fun park. There are rides for everyone including kids. People will complain about heat and long lines but it's an amusement park, what do you expect? My only negative feedback is when I went there was a roller coaster that wasn't working...More

Carowinds is an amusement park whose signature rides are roller coasters. In addition to some thrilling coasters, they have some scary elevation rides. Those are the headliners. They also have an assortment of fair type rides, and a large arcade area, where you can try...More

This park is like Walt Disney of the Carolinas. Quaint enough to do in one day rushed but two days are better. Water park is clean and fun. Food was excellent for mass produced. Chicken tenders were the best! Thrill rides for all ages. Lines...More

It had been a VERY long time since I had visited Carowinds. We went during the week and was pleasantly surprised that it was not crowded. No long lines, Carowinds staff was very friendly everywhere we went, kids had blast!

Great selection of rides. The number and variety of roller coasters (my favorite!) is awesome. They do a good job of catering to all age groups. And they do one of the best Halloween themed events I have ever been to - Scarrowinds!

My Family and I have been to almost every Amusement Park on the east coast. We have even traveled to Sandusky OH. Carowinds is some what of a let down after visiting bigger parks. The Staff and Costumes service are great. They just need more...More

Spent a day at the park and the weather was the only downside. Don't waste your time on the small rides. Fury and Intimidator were great. Lines not bad.

There are 3 sizes. We paid $27 and that's just ridiculous. However, once you get over the price, the convenience is worth every penny. Also, for food, they sell a "family bucket" special: a bucket of chicken fingers, a... More

Yes you can, and there are lockers throughout the park that you HAVE to rent when you ride some of the rides. Fury 325 is one of those rides.

No food allowed in period. I did not check prices of cabana but it looks like there are 2 different quality levels so I am assuming 2 different prices.
