Spacious, great rides but they need more shaded areas!

We had a corporate day at Carowinds and I thoroughly had a good time! I'm not a huge up-and-down... read more

Carowinds is almost right "in our backyard" so we finally broke down and bought gold passes now that our kids are old enough for the bigger coasters. I really think the park has improved a great deal in recent years - it seems cleaner and...More

We had a corporate day at Carowinds and I thoroughly had a good time! I'm not a huge up-and-down roller coaster ride fan but there were plenty of other choices available. Be prepared to spend money INSIDE the park on the things like the novelty...More

CaroWinds has awesome roller coasters! We normally visit Six Flags in Georgia, and even though this park is smaller, it's better! The water park is much bigger as well. This park was very clean and beautiful and we had a great experience there! We loved...More

Being a local to the area near Carowinds, I have been going to this park for over 32 years. It has changed a lot over the years, but the best changes/ additions were made when Cedar Parks, based out of Ohio, took ownership. The park...More

Great night of fun! Kids loved it! Lines are not as long as the summer time lines. It is scary, but not too scary. Wouldn't recommend it for small children, although lots of small children are there. All the teens loved it!!

It's been several years since I've been here and things have changed in that time. The water park has great expanded and is so much better than what is was years ago. Roller coasters are fun, but I wish they had more rides for a...More

I think Carowind's depends more on season ticket sales than walk up customers - since the season tickets aren't that bad of a deal, they try and make up for it with very expensive food and drinks. I wonder if they lowered their price they...More

Worth visiting, certainly don't need fast pass in summer Monday to Wedenday, or preferred parking. Lots of roller coasters, and did not visit the water park next door. They have the top 2015 golfen ticket award coaster in the world!

I would start at the park and ride the rides then cool off at the waterpark. Then eat enjoy the shade trees and then go on more rides. Great and fun experience!!

There are 3 sizes. We paid $27 and that's just ridiculous. However, once you get over the price, the convenience is worth every penny. Also, for food, they sell a "family bucket" special: a bucket of chicken fingers, a... More
