This was an easy falls to view. We didn’t go to the very bottom due to it was slippery with a recent rainfall.

I'm sure it's even more amazing in the spring and summer. About 10-15 minutes outside of Cherokee. Small parking lot but manageable and Porto potties are available. You start the incline on several steps so prepare yourself for that. After the stairs it levels off...More

We saw the falls when they were partially froze. They were beautiful. I think there are 160 steps to top. They were slick the day we went, small patches of ice....so be careful. It is worth the walk up! Try NOT to use the port-a-lets...More

Nice, short trail to waterfall. The hike to the waterfall is uphill (stairs) but manageable. We visited during a cold spell and the falls were frozen over.

This is a must see! A hidden treasure. Quite a climb but well worth it. It was quite a nice area after the climb to sit and enjoy the view.

We just went to Mingo Falls today and it was beautiful. It is 160 steps and a very short walk to the falls but when you get there you are greeted with huge icecicles hanging off rocks on either side of the falls and snow...More

This out of the way place is breath-taking to say the least. The climb is not for everyone. Its a slow steady climb of earthen/stone steps. But once up top the view is stunning.
