If you are in Cherokee, these falls are worth a visit. Nice (short) walk/climb. The falls were not that impressive this day however. Too little rain?

Checking out the falls in the area and found this one. Pretty cool, especially after a recent rainstorm. Kids enjoyed exploring up to the actual falls.

160 fairly Steep Steps. Could be tough for folks with bad knees. Falls are lovely and worth the trip even with water lower than usual due to lack of rain.

You have to walk up a hill for a while but the waterfall is spectacular. A must see! I think it would be scary in the spring or really rainy times.

Less crowded than Laurel and Grotto Falls. A short distance to the falls, but lots of stairs. Great for photos! It was interesting to drive thru the Indian reservation.

Only a short walk to see a beautiful waterfall. The parking lot was a pretty good-sized. Well worth the trip to see

I've been coming to Mingos falls since I was a kids and now I bring my grandkids. It's a short drive from downtown Cherokee and a great photo opp. Lots of stairs, but I've seen folks of all ages make it to the top.
