Nice lighthouse in pretty setting, amid historic buildings. Can't go in, however, unless you pay $10 to climb the stairs. Best part, actually, was going to the wildlife education center next door: free museum and interesting movie of history of the area.

The lighthouse and grounds were very nice. There was plenty of parking. It's 220 steps to the top, but there are several landings on the way up. There are also posters on the way up telling the history of the lighthouse. Great views!

It’s beautiful and a one of a kind experience. I was a little uneasy going up but it’s been there so long so it’s not going anywhere...

I have been here many times before and I always learn something from the volunteers. I bring photographers here on my workshops.

220 steps to the top up a narrow winding staircase. $10 per person to climb. Nice views but also fine to just view the lighthouse from the ground.

We visited while on spring break with 2 kids. The climb to the top was a little scary and not for those with a fear of heights. It is a spiral staircase all the way up. It cost $10 to climb. Free to just walk...More

we were just going to "stop" and ended up spending a few hours! Didn't go into the lighthouse (10 dollars to climb) because the line was pretty long, but we enjoyed walking around the grounds. Lots of nice areas for photo ops!

Enjoyed the view from the top. Not too bad a climb to see the views of Corolla. Cost was $10 per person, but kids under 7 were free.

Really beautiful lighthouse -- we enjoyed strolling on the grounds but we had little kids and thus did not wait in the pretty long line to climb up the stairs of the lighthouse. Enjoyed the park, there's a pond, bridge and a great place to...More

Adults cost $10, however if you just want to go inside and take a photo looking up at the spiral stairway there is no cost.
