The information we discovered about whales migrating placed a deep desire to return and watch from the pier. A nice beautiful unexpected day enjoyed by all. We didn't want to leave. Sit on the porch and listen to the birds and waves.

This is a free education faculty about wildlife in the coastal area. It is simple but very well done and also includes a 20 minute video.

Friendly staff, interesting local history, and clean facilities all make for a good visit. We visit just about every time we make it down to Corolla.

Again small but very well done! Short 20 minute movie about the area and its wildlife! A small aquarium but nice. About 10 separate displays. If you have 40 minutes to watch movie and stroll the exhibits it's nice.

On this, our first trip to the Outer Banks, we were glad this was an initial stop. The informative film presentation of the history of the islands are supplemented by the displays of wildlife, tools and other items pertaining to the island's history for nature, wildlife and the attempts of the islanders to make a living. A must see when... More

The Center's exhibits are well done and informative; they even have a mounted bear you that you can take your photo with - and the movie is very, very, interesting and informative.
