Lots of blooms in April. Wish there had been more signs telling what plants we were admiring. Volunteer guides were very helpful when we encountered them. Would go back if in area.

This is a very nice area to stroll around in in nice weather. We went in spring when a lot of the flowers were blooming (but even then it was a touch warm for me). I think much later and it would be unbearably hot....More

We visited the Duke Gardens in March with some friends who were visiting from Orlando. Because of the warm February we had this year, the Tulips were in full bloom, along with the Cherry Trees at the entrance. OMG! My wife and I have known...More

My children and I visited the gardens to kill some time between eating lunch and our tour of Duke. We're glad we did, as it was a beautiful time to visit.
