Specialty stores and cute things to find. A couple of eating places here (although I didn't eat) and an ice cream store that makes amazing cappuccinos!

Quaint little area of Durham with shops and eateries alike. Not very big and a lot of shops were closed on Sunday, but worth a stop.

A short stroll through the courtyard in this historic complex reveals a variety of shops and restaurants. We especially liked Clouds Brewing, a brilliant brewpub with tasty Shrimp & Grits among other treats. A wonderful example of re-purposed tobacco company brick warehouse buildings with an...More

Maybe you should visit it. You'll see plenty of niche shops in the area. You won't find a Walmart or Target here as this is a converted tobacco warehouse to accommodate shoppes and restaurants.
