$40 for two adults and two students. I'm sorry to say that the insect collections were the highlights of this older museum. The animals in the North American displays looked ragged. The dinosaur exhibit could only excite a five year old. The only reason that...More

I would not drive to visit this museum. It is ok for kids field trips but as far an afternoon with the kids I think you and your kids would get very bored. Not a lot of interactive things for the kids. Just an ok...More

We enjoyed this museum a lot. It has a ton to keep small kids occupied for several hours. The outdoor areas were one of our favorite parts. We really liked being able to step back in time to see North Carolina through the ages.

For $12 total it probably would have been OK, but not for the nearly $30 for one adult and two kids that I spent. One hall was closed as it was between exhibits, another hall was closed for renovation. The other halls that were open...More

Great. Nice friendly people and a great place for good clean family time. The kids love the animals. Nice easy trail for kids. My wife loves brining our toddler here and has recently joined as a member. Great value.

I love all the Hands-On stations. Especially being able to look at live animals. The walking trails behind the museum are so gorgeous especially the little pond.

She thoroughly enjoyed the entire place. Great place for a rainy day excursion. She keeps asking to go back.

This is a small museum, but well done! Exhibits keep kids interested, especially the pirate ship playground. I thought the cost was reasonable as well. Take a trip! First Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. is free!
