I have been a student and faculty at ECU. It is cutting edge with constant growth and evolution with nearly 30,000 enrollees. Parking is problematic but that's typical for most any university. There are some great performing arts programming at a very low cost.

Both our kids graduated from ECU, One with a degree in Engineering and the other in Business Management. Very pleased with the education they got. Would encourage anyone to take a look at it.

Go Pirates! I've had 2 sons graduate this fine institution, both with double degrees and from the Honors College - and both did it in 4 years. I'm a proud Pirate parent and would highly recommend ECU

Nice and small campus! There is a sense of community.at ECU. The town is in a state of Flux! There are many depressed neighberhoods. The campus however is beautiful. Nice green areas and good departments. A place to think of!

I love this town- small town feel but with big city amenities. My son is receiving a great education and we love to come visit him. We love the local taverns and eateries. Our favorite- PIRATE FOOTBALL!!!! The excitement and school spirit are contagious.

ECU is known for its medical school and its advancements in online education. But it's not quite so widely recognized for the excellence of its theater department. And that's a tragedy. Theater students, apply here!
