Whenever we travel through Hamptonville we are sure to stop by the Shiloh General Store. The staff are always most helpful and fun to interact with. The baked goods are out of this world, especially Saturday morning donuts. They fix sandwiches to order and they are also yummy. My family loves the milk that is sold here and also we... More

This is a great place to shop for all kinds of jellies and jams, pickles, desserts, breads, and all manner of spices. They also make wonderful sandwiches! It is definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely love visiting the Shiloh General Store. This store has such a variety of delicious items. They make their own bread which is phenomenal! They also make their own doughnuts which are spectacular. Customized deli sandwiches can also be ordered and made while you wait. The prices on all of their items are extremely reasonable. The staff is always friendly... More

This Amish general store has lots to offer; just stop in and look around. Gain five pounds just by smelling the freshly baked bread! If you're hungry, grab a sandwich. Don't miss this gem.

From the home cooked breads to the home remedies to the jams and spices, this store is a treat. The deli meats and cheeses looked terrific.

Since the Amish store in town closed, I have tried to find another which sold spices, dried goods, etc so a Google search led me here. It is in an obscure location off 1-77 and US 421...it is well worth the time to drive here. The store has every type of pickled or canned fruit or vegetable you can imagine,... More

Deli meats & cheese, spices, canned goods (in jars), bakery... this place is operated by local Amish folk and sort of reminds me of a small-scale Mast General Store. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very humble and friendly. Arrive early on a Saturday morning and try their fresh baked donuts.

This place was so cool. Everything homemade and tastes great. Got samples of cheese and meat. Homemade bread that was out of this world. Fudge was heavenly. Owners and workers were so friendly and helpful. Beautiful quilts for sale

Take a step back in time and get a good sandwich. I usually go for bologna with mild mustard, hot pepper cheese, mayo and tomato. The bologna is thin but they pile it on. The store also has lots of fresh baked goods and fudge. Be sure to grab some dessert. Watch out for horse and buggies as you drive... More
