This little museum is free but has an informative and a variety of displays. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. It is located on a quaint main street wtih shopping and restaurants.

This free museum has an amazing selection of minerals and fossils. Many of the specimens were collected locally.

There is no cost for the museum. Lots of displays of mierals, geodes, etc. as well as items mounted by local craftsman for purchase. You can also purchase geodes for $10-$35 and they will crack them for you and provide display stands - a great...More

Learned a lot and had some great conversations. And you must visit next door, TRIBAL TRENDS. The owner knows all the chemical and metaphysical properties of gems and crystals. The info on the healing properties of stones was amazing!!
