Very popular place, close to Hendersonville. A good selection of varieties, changing seasonally. Pick your own or they pick, we look forward to returning next year

Nice place to stop and take in the view, buy some tasty apples...but, it's just a farmstand, not a place to spend much time.

We found 3 out of 4 clues...not bad. My relatives really wanted to pick apples but they didnt have anymore u-pick...however, they were nice enough to... More

We bought apples, and the choice is limited in November, but the apple cider is the best I've ever had.

Went on a recommendation from a good friend and was totally grateful for it! There are plenty of apple orchards in Hendersonville; however, this one has a huge play area for the kids (it's free, too) and they have a nice, semi-indoor area where the big kids can hang out and enjoy fresh apple pie, cookies, and apples. Great place... More

You will not find fresher hot apple cider than here. It's the perfect thing to warm up with on a cool fall day it is also a good drink to wash a straight out of the fryer apple cider donut with. It's a fun time for the whole family.

We attend the annual apple festival in Hendersonville every year. After we get our fill of the festivities all we think about is getting our apple appetite taken care of, so we stop off out our favorite apple farm Grandad's Apples. They have a plethora of apples to select from and their own bakery. If you like bakery goods, I... More

We drove to Grandad's Apples from Simpsonville, NC. It was a beautiful October Sunday afternoon for a drive. The variety of apples was excellent. After tasting many varieties, we settled on the Cameos. We also purchased the Applesauce Loaf, which was absolutely the best I have ever tasted...moist and yummy. There were many activities for children, including a corn maze... More

Annual trip to the area always includes a stop at Grandad's. Best Apple Sauce Loaf on the planet. Corn maze is great and plenty of activities for younger kids. Pick or buy Apple's. Don't forget the cider doughnuts and cookies yum....

We went to Hendersonville to get Apples and stopped by Grandad's. lots of different Apples and samples, also nice bakery, friendly staff and knowledgeable about the Apples. Clean and great place for a break. If they have Moutain cabbage, get it, it is great. Lots of hints for kids to do and picture taking opportunities. Will visit again next year.
