We were floored by the location, the building and the quality of the displays in such a remote location. The building itself is worth the investment of time and the architect gets kudos for the effort on the property. Enjoy!

I can’t believe this is a top attraction here. I enjoy art and there is so much beauty surrounding this area; I can’t believe that beauty isn’t displayed here. It’s a beautiful site that has so much potential.

Don't miss this lovely place with pottery studio, and great small exhibits- lovely outside area, gift shop and relaxing deck too.

This is truly one of the must see venues when in Highlands. The Bascom usually has at least one amazing exhibit going, and they're always free.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Highlands, along with the waterfalls and great dining. We visited on a Saturday and toured the art gallery and shopped for hand-crafted gifts in the attached gift shop. The Bascom is also an educational center,...More

What catches your eyes is the covered bridge. Let's Stop! It's not old but is the main entrance to The Bascom. A beautiful building with modern rural art outside and 3 levels of galleries. There is a separate building for local artist to learn and...More

The covered bridge brought us to a serene setting of mixed media art. Metal sculpture, pottery, paint and paper, were all there to enjoy. If children are with you (or even if they are not), be sure to take the nature trail. Very nice gift...More
