We stopped at the Hot Springs Resort and Spa on a trip through the NC mountains. They were fully booked and they don't give tours on weekends but they said that we could look around. I have no information about the staff or the views from the tub platforms but the place seemed shabby. The tubs are in small, weathered,... More

The hot tubs here are super private which is great. The first time we visited we got a deluxe tub and the next time we got a regular tub. I will no longer get a deluxe tub because the regular is basically the same for just a cheaper price. The only difference is that a deluxe has a small table... More

My father and I recently visited Asheville, NC for a vacation (March 2017). A few days prior to our trip a co-worker of mine mentioned we should swing by Hot Springs Resort/Spa and enjoy a mineral bath- what a great recommendation! When we arrived the staff greeted us with friendly smiles and a welcoming attitude. Penny and Peg (The P... More

Hot springs is so unique in its presentation to it's healing water that you can indulge alone in private or with a half dozen friends or more and still achieve the healing benefits. Bring lunch and wine and enjoy everything they offer. On the downside management could do so much better with personal.

We came on a rainy Wednesday afternoon and were able to just walk on in and book a tub. Brooke and Lucinda were so accommodating and friendly, answering our questions about the history and what we needed to do. Once we got back to the Welcome Pavilion, Evan graciously showed us the changing areas/restrooms, as well as, where our tub... More

We leave about an hour away and love taking the occasional afternoon to soak in the hot tubs. The mineral water leaves your skin feeling amazing and the views are relaxing and serene. Bring your own towels and drinks. You can change in the changing area or at the private tubs. The tubs on the Spring Creek side seem to... More

I often read other reviews before writing my own to see what others noticed and sometimes remind myself of things I did or did not like or appreciate. A lady from Chicago said she didn't feel comfortable because the town of Hot Springs is "limited and remote." Thank goodness some city-slickers feel that way, ;) and while I know the... More

I loved the hot tub with the mineral water, place is very scenic and the delux one very private, nice adition: the fire place at the welcome center, Janette gave me a great herbal wrap with a full body massage, left relaxed and satisfied

If driving South towards Asheville it's worth the stop. Call in advance. We were unable to book a massage due to availability. Very cheap. While the tubs are man-made, the water is pumped in directly from an off-site natural spring and not altered in any way. An hour soak is a perfect amount of time and flies by.

We enjoyed a 1 hour soak that began at 8:30pm. Our tub was one of the last along The French Broad. We brought our own Bluetooth speaker and beverages. The experience was well worth making a tradition of.
