We went with our 8 year old grandson. All of us got something good from the experience. He enjoyed being able to run faster than the first flight. He really enjoyed the junior park ranger experience. The monument and grounds are simple and it was...More

Unfortunately the part of the exhibit that we wanted to see (the visitors center) is under construction and closed. A small temporary exhibit is in its place.) But they are still charging full price to visit the stone monument and walk the flight path. Seems...More

I love history and the idea of the first flight is compelling but unfortunately of all the historic sites I've visited, this one is the least interesting and costly for the value. It consists of one building with 2 sides and a long, very hot...More

We loved walking around here and learning about the different events that took place in the various years through out history. It was a quick stop next to the visitors center, but I highly recommend it!

$7 for everyone over 16. Overpriced for what it is especially since the visitor center is closed for renovations, but it was interesting to actually see something so historic.

What I like about this place is that it all seems like everything looks now like it looked then, in 1903. Park is neither overbuilt with shops with souvenirs nor overcrowded with ice cream or burger places. There are marks where the first fly started...More

Glad I took my kids to experience this part of history. Lots of climbing so take water. Also museum is closed until 2018.

The main facility was closed due to reconstruction. However, the rest of the exhibits were opened. Having little kids with us, we decided to drive to the various locations vs. walking from the main parking lot. It was certainly a hot day, and water is...More

You can google the hours of operation and I would say it would take a good hour or so to take pictures and look and hike the hill
