We enjoyed the flowering bridge. We visited in the fall and it was so interesting to see Iris's still in bloom. So many different plants. Great fun and a learning experience.

I live in Lake Lure and go to the flowering bridge often. I am in awe every time I visit as there is always something different in bloom. A great place to walk and take photos!

Simply put, this FREE location is NOT WORTH a special trip to see. But if you are in the area AND if it's blooming time, then maybe it will consume about 45 minutes of your life. Getting to Lake Lure is an adventure all by...More

A beautiful attraction that many miss, as it is right next to a modern bridge where you might zip right past it.

This lovely little park is converted from a disused bridge. The planting is varied and interesting a d there are lots of arts and crafts touches, such as old chairs turned into plant stands and small metal sculptures. Well worth a visit.

This is a roadside bridge garden that is wonderfully kept by volunteers. There is no cost to enter; however, donations are welcome to assist with maintaining. Parking is available on either end of the bridge and books are available to reference while you are there....More
