The Mount Airy Visitors Center is now located in The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce Building at 200 N. Main Street, Mount Airy NC 27030. Please stop by the Mount Airy Visitors Center as we are open 7 Days a week Monday-Friday 8:30am-6pm (May-November) and until 5pm (December-April), Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 12noon-4pm. We can assist with planning your trip while visiting Mount Airy "Mayberry" North Carolina. The Andy Griffith Museum is also open 7 Days week and just few blocks from the Visitors Center.

Sometimes at a visitor center all you get is a map. In this case, you got map, specific directions, and very helpful thoughts and tips. Just a brief stop will make your visit even better!

Don’t you dare travel to Mt. Airy, NC and not stop in here. If you’re not a diehard fan of The Andy Griffith show you surely to God will be once you been here!!

The visitors is a must if you are visiting Mt. Airy! There were actually several things I learned about the Andy Griffith show by visiting here. Very well organized layout of items to be showcased!

It was fun seeing costumes and memorobilia from the show. Barneys salt and pepper suit and Otis's straw hat.
