The Mount Airy Visitors Center is now located in The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce Building at 200 N. Main Street, Mount Airy NC 27030. Please stop by the Mount Airy Visitors Center as we are open 7 Days a week Monday-Friday 8:30am-6pm (May-November) and until 5pm (December-April), Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 12noon-4pm. We can assist with planning your trip while visiting Mount Airy "Mayberry" North Carolina. The Andy Griffith Museum is also open 7 Days week and just few blocks from the Visitors Center.

I've never rated a visitor center before but this one is worthy of praise. Elamite works there and is s fount of knowledge and s joy just to talk to. Don't miss this place on Main Street.

The staff was very friendly and informative. One of the nicest visitors centers we have been in. They gave us a map of the area. There was a tremendous amount of information available about the town and area.

We took some much needed time to reconnect with each as all adults we love the quiet lone time on the Harley Davidson as we rode we stopped over for supper and ended up staying the night
