This place is a hoot. The present-day Barber/ actor/ comedian is worth the visit and the picture taking opportunities. I would consider this a must see place to visit

The folks in the shop were very friendly even though none of us got a haircut. We thought my hubby could get a shave but they don't do that anymore. Sat in an authentic chair. Facebook friendly.

Get a picture of the outside then step inside an old fashioned working barbershop for more pictures. Photo lined walls of Andy Griffith and friends. Merchandise. Services offered. Very friendly staff.

you could spend a hour just looking at all the photo's on the wall really neat place to go into. You could also if so inclined get a haircut.

It is closed on Sundays but looking thru the windows, it is just like in the show. I loved the sign on the window that said - no longer giving shaves. They do cut hair. And there were so many pics in there.

This is a great place to stop. The people are very friendly and will tell you a bit about the actual barber.
