The business owners are full of trivia and will invite you to take a photo, to put on their Facebook page. They say they still do haircuts but I don't see how they could with all the tourists coming in.

Nice accent to the downtown shops. The barber shop was closed when we were there but it does add to the nostalgia. I would check it out again if I were going back.

This place is all about the proprietor. He was chatty, full of historical information and even offered to take our photo in the chair Andy Griffith used. What a great place to spend a few minutes soaking up some history.

We went in today to get an old fashioned haircut. The fact was they were giving a great demonstration on the way it was done but no real haircut.

We have visited the barber shop several times and it's a joy each time. Sit in the barber chair where Andy Griffith sat. Lots of conversation and laughter going on in the shop.

Couldn't convince my husband to get his hair cut, but we did peek in. Looks like an authentic barber shop from the 1950s.

Walked by. Did not go in. Floyd had one chair, this one has 3. Did not want to destroy memory. Lol. Neat downtown.

It is still a barber shop and open for business. The owners welcomed me in for pics and to look at the place and the memorabilia.
