We visited Wally's because we wanted to ride in the Squad car! What we got was so much more! 30 minutes of the history of Mt Airy, Andy Griffith and every attraction in town. The guide was so friendly and excited to share his town...More

We visited Wally's Service Station and took lots of pictures of the Darlins cabin and truck. We visited the jail there and had so much fun taking pictures in the jail cell and in Andy's seat at his desk. We also took the squad car...More

I enjoyed my visit here. Interesting things too see. Close by to other attractions. The tours they offer look interesting but I did not do it.

This area, which looks like a replica of Mayberry, is located a few blocks from downtown. We visited Wally's Service Station, Mayberry Courthouse, the Darlins' cabin, and Mayberry "Motel". We had so much fun walking around and taking cheesy photos of the area. This is...More

Very interesting place. Unfortunantly we parked and walked 8 blocks each way only to find the ride was unavailable. The very friendly lady called but never a response. Highly recommending calling first.

Takes me back on time. Growing up when original show aired. Still watch nightly reruns. Seeing the facades. A quaint store at service station. Precious.

Nice, nick knacks, old time candy, squad car tours. Replica of sheriff's office was the best. Free, worth a stop.

The woman working at the counter took forever helping people. She chatted with a man about a map and his life while 3 other people stood in line. She also scolded my daughter for touching things, which she wasn't. I would not buy from this...More

I was wondering if on Saturday my sister and I could get a brief video of us with the squad car and maybe the driver. Also, do I need to make a reservation? We don't want the tour but would pay for the video opportunity.
