Call ahead and make reservation for squad car tour. Go early like 10 AM. Our guide Wayne was great on tour of Mayberry and granite quarry. $35 plus gratuity was well worth it for two adults (cash only). Now off to Snappy Lunch for pork chop sandwich which you will relish. Stop in Floyds barber shop next door for a... More

Great place to reminisce. The namesake from the Andy Griffith show. Nice gift shop and soda pop, etc. You can buy tickets for a rude in the old sheriff car for a tour of Mt. Airy.... the Andy Griffith home, etc. Had a blast.

It was a great place to visit it took me back to a time in my childhood when time and things were easier and my dad ran a small service station. The gift shop prices were reasonable too.

We stopped by on our way out of Mt. Airy. Very easy to find, just straight out the Main Street. Lots of people there taking pictures so don't expect a photo without lots of other tourists. LOVED that tours are done from here in squad cars like Andy and Barney drove.

Take a ride in Mayberry's squad car. It is 35.00 but 5 people can fit in the car. Yes it has seatbelts. They even had a booster car seat for my 4yr old grandson. The driver was very enjoyable. He gave a good tour. We really enjoyed this.

Decided on a whim to take this tour and oh boy was it fun. It cost 35.00 no matter how many people and it was well worth the money. You ride in a replica cop car The tour guide drives you around town showing not only Andy Griffith stuff but talks about Donna Fargo and takes you to the granite... More

We took the squad car tour of the town and it was really neat! It doesn't last terribly long but its nice to hear about the town from a local's point of view. The guys who drive are really funny and they can tell you anything you want to know about the Andy Griffith Show or the town in general.... More

It was closed when we stopped by but looked cool. Has court house and school next to it, Brisco Darlings cabin sits behind it.

Book your ride in the squad car here. They have 5 of the Fords. Watch endless loop of Andys show. Buy snacks. Take pictures. You can buy a key to the cells. Hang em on your wall Good times

Single or a party of five - it's the same price. About 40 minutes of talk and travel to see the town and hear the Mayberry history as told by your "Deputy" tour guide. Our Deputy was fun, informative and full of tips for local shopping/dinning. I highly recommend this for both Mayberry novices and fans alike.
