Fun Course

Close to where we stay. Good friendly staff. Fall of the year not that busy in the afternoon. Reasonable PM rates. Very good shape with some nice sound front holes.

Played here twice during our stay in OBX. They had the best rate on the island, and honored the online rate even though we called ($49). Both times we ended up getting out earlier than our tee time, and the pace was great. The course is tough, especially if you can't hit the ball a long way. I only lost... More

This course is a really hard course and you really need to play iron golf here unless you want to lose 20 balls which i did. I thought the course would be easier since it was a beach course. The views are awesome at the course but it is a little pricey. I did however finish my round in less... More

Drivable greens - holes along the sound, blind shots, and great fun. A tight links style course that will keep you coming back.

Not long and a few beautiful views of the sound. Bring a lot of golf balls. Manage your game. Tee off with irons. Hit it in the 'rough' and its gone. Rough is really bramble. It was fun to play once but probably not a regular visit. Practice area uses plastic balls. Practice green has no holes, just flag stakes.... More

We tried several times to get our round in, to no avail. We were wet through and through. After multiple stop and starts we finally had to accept a rain check. What we did play was in great shape. The greens drain real well. The fairways remained playable throughout. We were the limiting factor. I look forward to trying again... More

Fun little putt putt course. Take a coupon with you. Nice location and staff that leaves you alone to play.

I'm an average player and played nine holes due to other commitments. This time I parred four holes, but double or triple bogeyed three other holes. Point is that some holes may seem easy but require straight shooting. If you over hit or slice too much you will lose lots of balls as the brush and marsh areas are not... More

Get the first tee time at the $49 rate and you should get 18 in. Have played here many times and it is definetly target golf so may have to wait on some holes with lots of first time players ahead. Tee'd off at 4;30 and still finished 18. Staff is great and condition fantastic.

Nags Head Golf Links is a very nice course that has several holes on the sound. Greens and fairways in good shape. Just be prepared to play a very long round. In 95 degree heat, it's no fun to wait on every shot.
