Very nice pier. If you have a membership to the NC Aquarium, your walk-on fee is free. There are two large aquariums inside the lobby area. The gift shop was closed during our visit, I would have really liked to see that. $2 adult, $1...More

.....in the ocean. It’s a really long pier and you get the sense of being far from land. It’s just $2 to walk out the pier. There are aquarium exhibits at a;additional charge.

Wanted to watch the Blood Moon over the ocean, great place to go for pictures. Everyone on the pier who were fishing, were very friendly and didn't mind our little intrusions to get to a good spot for taking pics.

Visited with children and we all loved the experience and gift shop. Visited with students and they fully enjoyed their tours and class sessions with the instructors. This is a terrific place. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pier and surrounding are was very clean and prices were quite reasonable. Can't wait to go back.

There's not a person to actually clean your fish, but there are some stations where you can do it.
