Rick and Ken were great instructors and cooks. We learned a lot about pier and surf fishing and had a blast catching puffers, spot, mullet, and whiting. The best part was eating our catch; who knew puffer tasted so good.

There are five major things that you can do with the aquarium membership, three of them are the aquariums along the coast from the one on Roanoke Island, we visited this one the day before, to the one near Wilmington, NC. The other two are...More

Very nice pier, nice gift shop , very clean restrooms. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Never even felt like you were on pier, great lighting and cleaning tables. Also had covered places for you to get out of the wind and elements.

The Pier and area was clean and convenient. We had a great day catching fish, sun and conversing with locals. We highly recommend this spot for a great day of entertainment!

Great pier! We've visited many on the east coast, and this one is the nicest. It was well built, easily accessible, clean and had three cleaning stations. They were catching nice sized round heads and occasional trout.

This pier gives awesome views of the ocean and beach. In the store is a small aquarium and some interesting pictures and facts on the pier. It's a nice place for an evening stroll.

On our way back to our hotel, we ended the day with a stop here. Admission to just visit and not fish was only $2. As a fisherman myself, it was enjoyable to watch what others were doing. Nice views of the ocean. Worth a...More

I love this pier. It was rebuilt to hopefully last forever. I was disappointed we never saw anyone catch a fish. We could see the pier from our balcony and people fished until midnight.

Went to check out the pier. It was a beautiful sunny day but a stiff breeze. For $2 it was an all day pass. Lots of fishermen and they even rent poles. The gift shop is really nice and there is a beUtiful tank showing...More
