This pier offers handicap accessibility both to the pier as well as onto the nearby beach. What a wonderful idea! Bathhouse is located by the pier for convenience. The pier is newly renovated and sturdy with little movement for anyone who may suffer from this type of problem!

I took a group of students here on a school field trip. The employees at the pier did a wonderful job teaching my students about ocean life, ocean currents, and all sorts of other information connected with the ocean. I was so impressed by how intelligent, knowledgeable, and capable they were. Not only were the employees great, but also I... More

Visiting with our adult sons and they took one of the fishing classes where you fished and they showed you how to clean and cook what you caught. They thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat outside on some nice benches and went on the beach below while they had class. They said they got fried fish hush puppies and fries that... More

While the pier is great for it's fishing purposes, as a local, we love going there because, as seniors, we can put our chairs under the pier, hang hammocks between the posts, and enjoy the beauty of the ocean, children and families vacationing...while being in the cool of the shade without bringing or dealing with an umbrella...there is a bathhouse...and... Walked out and watched a bunch of activities going on the beach. Lots of good little breakers right there so I can see why they do alot of activities there. Watched a group of people helping a handicapped boy to ride the waves on a specialty surf board.Hope he was having fun. Grandson and family go here for Surfing For... More

Our family took pier fishing lessons from Rick and loved it so much we took it again. His instructions and tips helped us so much. We definitely will ask for Rick again next year. We also took surf fishing lessons from Kyle. He was very good too.

This is a must for a family or a couple wishing to have a romantic stroll. The employees greet you with a smile and an enjoyable conversation. There is a shop for snacks and gifts and a very informative exhibit with live fish! The pier is clean and well kept. It's great to walk to the end of the pier... More

Views on the pier were nice, but you do have to pay to walk on it. It's nice to sit on the beach, in the pier's shade in the evening and watch all the surfers and skim boarders. There was quite a bit of trash and dog poop on the beach by the pier which is depressing and gross. What... More

The beach accesses are fine along the beachfront and offer parking, but the Jennette's Pier has so much more to offer. The pier house offers fishing, fine rest rooms, changing stations, shopping, educational experiences, variety of foods, fine beachfront. and even shade under the pier when it's too hot. What more could you ask for? I never go to the... More
