We went here on a whim, with noting else to do on a chilly afternoon and we were not disappointed one bit. The staff were friendly, the exhibits were informational and self explanatory. They offer the chance to do a scavenger hunt, DO IT! It...More

Nice museum. They have a touch tank, information the area wildlife as well as historical artifacts. As a disabled veteran entry was free. I just had to show my VA card marked as "Service Connected"

My grandsons, 8&2 loved the Coastal Museum with interactive exits on tides, facts to match with ocean creatures, and feeding at touch tank star fish. Elf on the shelf was there too! Fun/Interesting/do over/savenger hunt/ fish tanks.

Our family including a toddler enjoyed the museum. It has a nice area for kids to play and learn about the ocean. The exhibits were varied and interesting, worth a look..

This is a relatively small but eclectic assemblage of artifacts and natural history related to coastal Carolina. If you are visiting any of the South Brunswick islands, it is a good way to spend a rainy afternoon. We were on OKI, not OIB, but it...More

This museum was better than expected for a local small area. Very interesting exhibits and I especially like the live water tank where kids as well as adults can learn about the local sea creatures you can even hold a sea urchin.
