Awesome falls if you don't want to hike! Easy parking along the road with a short walk to the falls. Stairs take you to thr bottom of the river at the bottom of the falls. Nice place to cool off in the summer!

I highly recommend taking this short hike. The falls are beautiful and it is a great hike for families with kids.

No hiking necessary for this gem. Nice wooden stairway so you could go down to the river and even walk along the rocks down the stream a big. This was my favorite photo op our our trip.

This is literally right along the road. During the summer it is packed, and cars line the roadway, so parking is sometimes a challenge. Even with so many people, there are places to sit and contemplate the beauty of this sheet of water cascading down the face of the cliff, or go close to feel the spray. Even finding mica... More

With a roadside pull off, an overlook and steps to the bottom, this is definitely a great place to stop and enjoy nature's power. The falls cascade to the river below. This is definitely an easy find as you enter the Pisgah forest.

We visited on a very cold day but it was lovely just admiring the beauty and listening to the relaxing sound of the falling waster. There were many families taking pictures and just taking the time to commune with nature and all for free!! Can't beat it. Very therapeutic.

I had previously visited the falls back in the summer and found it to be beautiful, but insanely crowded. Visiting in the winter offers a much more calm and enjoyable experience. I visited in mid-December and was the only person there. The falls are accessed from the parking area via a short staircase.

If you are in the Brevard area and do not stop and see this waterfall, you need to be slapped upside the head. It is right next to the US 276 and has a big parking area along the road. It also has a nice set of steps and several spots you can stop and take photos from. In the... More

We have been visiting Looking Glass Falls for over 25 years and it is still just as beautiful as the first time that I saw it. I love how you drive around the curve and there it is, with easy access from the road. You can take the stairs down to view it or from the platform at the top,... More
