What a great tour!

Sam D. did an excellent job of keeping us entertained and well fed! The restaurants were all fantastic. You can't go wrong with this tour.

My son planned this out when I visited him in Raleigh recently. It was fun to walk from place to place and sample a bite and sip a libation. Was the food great? Yes and no, but we had a great time and enjoyed meeting fellow tour members.

This was a "work" event for my husband. Sam was our guide and was so filled with energy and information about Raleigh. 4 of us were from the Raleigh area, 1 person from Germany, 2 from New Jersey and 1 from Delaware. Our first stop was Beasley's Chicken + Honey. I was 5 mins late, but, they cooked my food... More

We absolutely loved our food tour with Taste Carolina. We did the 3:30 downtown Raleigh tour with Sam and she was fabulous! All delicious food and drink stops, we were totally stuffed by the end of the tour. We will definitely visit each of these local restaurants and explore their menus more in the near future! You definitely have a... More

This was such a wonderful experience for me and my husband. We had wonderful and unique food and drink from Oak City Meatball, Oro Restaurant & Lounge, Bittersweet, Garland and Gallo Pelon Mezacaleria...all were great and we'll visit again and again! Our tour guide Erica was awesome! She was attentive to all guests, checking on any dietary needs/restrictions / allergies... More

While entertaining family this past weekend, we decided to do our first walking food tour. This tour, with Neesey as our guide, could not have better met our expectations. The four of us were given a choice - to know or not to know where we were going. We all decided to allow ourselves to be surprised. And what a... More

We had a small group of 5 for a corporate outing today and we had a fantastic afternoon! We met Tony downtown and our first stop was Garland, followed by Lucette Grace, Gravy, Beasley's and the grand finale at Bittersweet. Tony was a great guide, gave us some great information about our stops and we all enjoyed great conversation over... More

Having lived in North Carolina for a few decades, even I was not aware of this great tour offering. For anyone wanting to get their feet wet in the higher end culinary specialties that our restaurants offer, I can't think of a better way to do it than through TCGFT. Groups meet in a central location (in our case a... More

This was a tremendous tour. Most of our group came from out of state, but we were all in North Carolina to visit a friend who just began grad school in Raleigh. It was a wonderful experience for all of us! We out-of-towners got a sampling of the food Raleigh has to offer with a side of history, while our... More

having done this tour multiple times , the one thing that truely stands out is the tour guide Sam! Sam is consistent with her energy, information and she makes the whole tour so much fun we loved how you changed restaurants for our private tour knowing some of us had already been to the previous restaurants in our last tour...
