...because there is really not much to see. There were a few camellias in bloom along the parking lot, but ALL of the roses were dormant and a few City of Raleigh workers were attending to them. Come back in April or May for a real show!

Great little park in downtown raleigh to check out. The rose garden is small but great little place to chill out in and do tai chi in summer.

The rose garden is beautiful during the Spring, Summer and Fall. Aside from that, one should take in a show or two at the Theatre itself. Don't miss the Christmas time show of Cinderella!!

My wife and I are rose growers and we visit gardens when we travel. When we first walked onto the property we were a little disappointed, but then we came around the corner and saw the beautiful well maintained rose garden. Many of the roses were in bloom and it made for a nice visit of about 1 hour. I... More

We enjoyed a lovely day of October sunshine for wedding photos with the beautiful roses, outdoor theater and arbor for photo back drop. What a stunning gift in Raleigh's back yard.

My son had his prom pictures taken there and it is an absolutely beautiful place. Parking is a little difficult but it was an easy walk from the street parking. The gardens are nicely maintained and very popular for the prom crowd. There are some great areas for both group and couples pictures. Absolutely lovely place!

We were there for our first event (outdoor play) and were happy to see what a cool place this theater is! Very relaxed, grassy and well-kept. Stone benches provide seating or you can bring your own chairs. The audio had its problems but overall, a great experience. Wish they had more than just one generic food truck though.

The rose garden is gorgeous when the roses are in bloom and I would highly recommend anyone check out this little gem if they are in the area. I live in Raleigh and this is one of my all-time favorite spots in the city.
